About Her…

I was a just a girl when I fell in love with all things vintage.

It was a rainy winter afternoon in Toowoomba QLD

In an op-shop off the main drag, my eyes adjusted to the gloom, my nose twitched against the musk and I started to rummage.

To my delight I discovered a bright red 80s jumper in the scant children's section. Seemingly forgotten, I had what no one else did, a cool original piece, a fabulously thrifty new knit and a sweet sweet deal! Immediately I was hooked.

Growing up in a humble household, I found thrills and honed skills in finding something amazing on a teeny budget. I kept up with the Jones' by keeping ahead, being different, wearing a second hand item with a renewed look and with confidence. 

At university my thrifting thrived, I had wheels and freedom - finally all the OP-portunity I could handle. "Pearl" (my '89 Ford Laser) and I had many great ventures finding treasure on our travels. Good times building my retro-finding muscles. I was becoming a collector. 

Then life kicks in - travel, a career, a house, a husband, a German shepherd, two baby girls... Time flies sitting in traffic stressing out.

Tick, tick, tick...

Old and new, I adore clothes. Tying these threads together in a colourful, energetic and eclectic way is my thing. After 20yrs+ in the Australian Fashion Retail Industry I have worked lovingly for amazing and iconic Australian fashion brands, developing businesses and teams to exceed, helping them grow and change with the times, service and quality always at the forefront. 

Now my vocation has become ever so clear. Time to live the dream doing what I love. Back on the road foraging towards a bright new future, finding pieces with a strong vintage heart beat.

Vintage is delicious, it feeds my soul. Like you and me, each piece is unique and I love how it can mould your day, alter your outlook, start a conversation, remind you of a time/place or create a new memory.

No two items are the same, no mass production here, good for your wardrobe and the planet. The kind of individuality we all should celebrate.
